SEGA took to the stage at The Game Awards 2021 to reveal the first look at gameplay for Sonic Frontiers, the latest 3D Sonic title that was announced earlier this year. Check out the first reveal trailer below.
The official blurb from the reveal trailer confirms that Sonic Frontiers will be adopting a more open world approach, while the trailer itself showcases absolutely huge enemies that threaten to turn Sonic into paste. Here’s the blurb: “An experience like never before, accelerate to new heights and experience the thrill of high velocity and open-zone freedom. Battle powerful enemies as you speed through the Starfall Islands.”
Sonic Frontiers will be launching during the holiday season in 2022, with a release on PC, PS4, PS5, Xbox One, Xbox Series X | S and even the Nintendo Switch.
