Being the leader of a huge criminal enterprise means you’re going to have hundreds of underlings running around at your beck and call, and Saints Row is no exception. Whether it’s your fellow gangmates who can be called into battle alongside you, or the countless grunts defending and patrolling your ventures, you’ve got an army at your disposal at all times.
One of the most useful tasks your peons in Saints Row can perform is vehicle delivery, where your favourite car or bike will be dropped off next to you in a matter of moments. Unfortunately, it’s only available as an unlockable ability, meaning you’ll need to put in some work if you want access to one of the most powerful and useful abilities in the entire game. Here’s how you unlock the vehicle delivery feature in Saints Row.
In order to unlock vehicle delivery, you’ll need to complete the JimRob’s Garage venture, which you’ll have access to near the beginning of the game. After being introduced to JR in the mission Observe And Report, you’ll then help him establish his own garage in the mission A Piece Of The Action. After that mission, you’ll become a partner in JimRob’s Garage, which will steadily earn you a small amount of money over time.
In order to upgrade the amount of money JimRob’s earns, and eventually unlock the vehicle delivery mechanic, you’ll need to complete missions for JR that see you stealing cars and other vehicles from across Santo Ileso. You’ll need to collect the different vehicles, one at a time, and each one will be marked on the map at a specific location.
Once you’ve stolen the vehicle, you’ll need to hoof it back to JimRob’s with the vehicle still intact in order to complete the mission while avoid cops and other enemies. Some deliveries are easier than others, but with a bit of determination, you’ll be able to complete every mission. Try to avoid crashing where possible, as that can really damage your car, and use sideswipe attacks to eliminate enemy vehicles too.
Once you’ve completed all the missions JR has for you, you’ll be called back to the garage to speak to the man himself. When you’ve done that, you’ll have fully completed the JimRob’s Garage venture, meaning that district will earn more money and, crucially, you’ll have unlocked the vehicle delivery feature.
In order to actually use the vehicle delivery featyre, you’ll need to access your garage and set one of your vehicles to be a favourite. After doing that, you’ll be able to call the vehicle delivery service from the contacts app on your in-game phone.
