As part of PlayStation’s conference during Paris Games Week, Codemasters announced their latest venture, the arcade-style off-road driving game On Rush. Please tell me I’m not the only one who thinks that’s a terrible name. Please.
Though the trailer was brief, it gave us enough of an indication as to what On Rush is all about: fast cars, over the top stunts and colour paint jobs louder than the engines of the vehicles they adorn. It looks to be accessible for players of all ages, a departure from the realism-heavy driving sims like F1 2017 and Dirt Rally, for which Codemasters are more traditionally known.
Not much else is known about On Rush at this moment, other than the reveal trailer and the vague Summer 2018 release window, but this game should automatically appeal to anyone with fond memories of the Motorstorm series.
