Resident Evil 3 Demo Finally Announced, Launching This Week

Also, a Resistance beta drops next week.

Resident Evil 3

Capcom have finally announced the release date for Resident Evil 3’s upcoming beta, and it’s arriving pretty soon. Players on Steam, PS4 and Xbox One will be able to download the demo from March 19th. Check out the official tweet below.

The demo will include a small slice of the full game, as Jill Valentine tries to survive the horrors of Raccoon City. The official blog doesn’t go into details about what you can properly expect from the demo, but we imagine that whatever is waiting for us isn’t going to be friendly.

It was also announced that Resident Evil Resistance, the asymmetrical multiplayer component for Resident Evil 3, will be receiving an Open Beta on March 27th, a week before the game launches on April 3rd. At the very least, Capcom had the good sense to release the single player demo a day before DOOM Eternal and Animal Crossing, so we’ll actually have time to play it.
