We’ve been waiting for a long time for more footage and information about the new Fable game, and finally, Playground Games took to the Xbox Games Showcase to unveil what they’ve been working on. While we’re still waiting on a release date for the upcoming RPG epic, Playground and Xbox did showcase a new trailer for the upcoming game, which you can check out at the top of the page.
The trailer mainly focuses on Dave, a so-called vegetable enthusiast who believes that the “so-called Age of Heroes” is over. Of course, that all changes when one of those heroes shows up on his doorstep, and Dave is revealed to be the giant waiting at the top of the beanstalk. It seems like the new Fable will take more of a fairytale inspiration this time around, instead of focusing on just mythology and folklore. Of course, there’ll still be some chicken kicking fun too.
