Persona Finally Coming To Xbox, Starting With Persona 5 Royal

Oh boy, here I go playing it again.

Persona 5 Royal

It feels like it’s been a long time coming, but Atlus and Microsoft have finally announced that the Persona series is coming to the Xbox, starting with Persona 5 Royal, which set to arrive on PC, Xbox One and Xbox Series X | S on October 21st. All three games will be available via Xbox Game Pass too. Check out the official announcement trailer at the top of the page.

Atlus will be bringing three acclaimed JRPGs to the Xbox, including Persona 3 Portable, Persona 4 Golden and Persona 5 Royal. While the news of Persona 4 Golden and Persona 5 Royal is exciting, especially for players who haven’t yet experienced what the Persona series is all about, the fact that Atlus are opting for P3 Portable instead is somewhat disappointing. As Portable is a diminished version of Persona 3 compared to the re-release version, FES, many might feel short changed that the superior version wasn’t ported instead.
