Overwatch’s Annual Archives Event Live Now On All Platforms

Also, there's a free weekend on Xbox.

Overwatch

Overwatch’s annual Archives event is live now on all platforms, bringing with it a host of new skins, emotes, sprays and content to the game. It also brings back the co-op missions that have been available in Archives events past. Check out the tweet below.

While this year’s Archives event doesn’t bring its own co-op mission, likely because Blizzard are working towards Overwatch 2, it does feature new challenges that alter the old co-op missions. While you can access the normal versions of Uprising, Retribution and Storm Rising throughout the event, the challenge mode will dripfeed remixed versions of these events each week.

The Archives event also brings new weekly win challenges, offering new skins and loot if you’re able to obtain 9 wins each week, and the event will last until April 2nd. If you’d like to play Overwatch, and you own an Xbox with Gold Membership, you’re in luck, as it’s available to play for free this weekend as part of Free Play Days. Let us know how much you want Brig’s Katt emote in the comments below.
