New Verdun Trailer Released for PS4 and Xbox One Versions

Verdun

It’s one of the most unique shooters on PC and console players have been looking forward to it for a while. As it launches today, WWI FPS Verdun also brings with it a brand new trailer to get Xbox One and PS4 players in the mood for some trench action.

Released on PC in April of last year, Verdun has garnered something of a cult following and some jealous glances from console players. Featuring realistic trench warfare and all the grime and dirt that goes with it, Verdun might be unlike anything else you will see this year. If you come into the game expecting LittleBigPlanet, expect to be shocked because Verdun takes no prisoners.

The console version of Verdun will bring with it an improved UI and smoother controls.

Some more info on Verdun:

Verdun is the first multiplayer FPS set in a realistic First World War setting. Merciless trench warfare
offers a unique battlefield experience, immersing you and your squad into intense battles of attack and
defense.

The game takes place on the western front between 1914 and 1918, in one of the bloodiest conflicts in
world history. The developers were inspired by the infamous Battle of Verdun in 1916. The game offers 4
distinct game-modes; Frontlines, Attrition, Rifle Deathmatch and Squad Defense. There are also many
historically accurate features included such as realistic WW1 weaponry, authentic uniforms, gore, and maps
based on the real battlefields of France and Belgium.

Verdun is a collaboration between M2H and Blackmill Games, who are both eager to ease PC players back into the game on console – a lucky 102 people will be able to pick up free keys for the PS4 version within its Steam community page. You can also pick it up on the PlayStation Store at 25% off until september 30th.

We will be reviewing the PS4 version of the game, so keep an eye on Cultured Vultures for the lowdown.
