New Gameplay Revealed For Street Fighter 6, Launches In 2023

Loving the art direction here.

Street Fighter 6

After a short teaser earlier this year, Capcom have unveiled the first gameplay trailer for Street Fighter 6, which is set to launch on PC, PS4, PS5, Xbox One, and Xbox Series X & S in 2023. If nothing else, the art style is way better than the bland logo the game was announced with. Check out the debut trailer at the top of the page.

The trailer for Street Fighter 6 showcased some new modes, which includes what appears to be an open world mode where you explore Metro City, shoryuken some barrels and instigate fights with other characters. There also appears to be a multiplayer battle hub, though that was briefly teased at the end of the video.

As for the characters, the already confirmed Luke and Ryu made an appearance, while series veteran Chun-Li also made an appearance. The trailer did debut a new character in the form of Jamie, who appears to be a drunken fist master who can unleash a flurry of devastating combos. He looks cool, and we’re definitely excited to see more in the future.
