All good things must come to an end.

First things first, rest in peace, Uncle Stan.

That’s right, True Believers – Season 7 of Marvel’s Agents of S.H.I.E.L.D. will be the show’s swansong. In what was probably their final SDCC appearance, stars Clark Gregg, Ming-Na Wen, Chloe Bennet, Iain De Caestecker, Elizabeth Henstridge, Natalia Cordova-Buckley, Henry Simmons, and Jeff Ward joined their executive producers to discuss the remaining sixth season and what’s to come in season 7.

Executive Producer Jeff Loeb introduced the cast and crew in attendance, ending with Gregg’s entrance, which led to a roaring standing ovation. They recapped the series and reminisced on the show that almost didn’t get a season five. Throughout AOS’s history, the MCU crossover spinoff experienced its share of peaks and valleys in the ratings game. But with the power of its fan base, a billion dollar movie franchise, and a lean from a little known company named Disney, Agents of Shield will be able to end with a sendoff it deserves.

You can see the rest of this (sixth) season’s flagship offering of Marvel Television, Agents of S.H.I.E.L.D., on Fridays at 8PM ET/PT on ABC.

If you need to play catchup, you can see earlier season 6 episodes on Hulu and seasons 1-5 on Netflix.
