Marvel vs Capcom: Infinite, the game apparently made on the belief that characters are just a collection of “functions”, has officially revealed the final four DLC characters that will form the full Season Pass.
The functions- I mean, characters available in the season pass will be released later this year. Black Widow, Monster Hunter, Venom and The Winter Solider are joining the already revealed Black Panther and Sigma.
What’s interesting here, at least from my perspective, is that these six DLC characters are skewed towards the Marvel roster. Only Monster Hunter and Sigma are representing the Capcom contingent. The official statement from Capcom refers specifically to Venom as “the shape-shifting Venom”, which might mean that Venom will appear in a different capacity than we’re used to. This is pure speculation on our part, but if the Venom symbiote finds its way onto someone like Viewtiful Joe, I’ll lose my goddamn mind.
Marvel vs Capcom: Infinite will be launching worldwide tomorrow, and it’s currently dirt frigging cheap on Amazon. Expect a full review on how these functions play in the next week or so.
