The darkest of days has arrived. The Chinless Wonder himself, James Ellsworth, has been released from WWE.

Originally an enhancement talent for Braun Strowman, Ellsworth achieved an unprecedented cult following amongst wrestling fans, eventually being signed to a contract with WWE in November of last year and having his own t-shirt released.

Ellsworth notably feuded with (and even beat) AJ Styles and was team mascot for Team Smackdown at Survivor Series 2016, before going on to be a comedy valet for current WWE Women’s Money in the Bank contract holder Carmella.

Since then, Ellsworth has only competed sporadically, with a recent loss to Becky Lynch.

Any man with two hands has a fighting chance. Here’s hoping Ellsworth all the best in the future.
