Remember a little while back when we ran a feature on that House of Cards reworking which transformed the sinister Frank Underwood and his contemporaries into colourful nineties sitcom inhabitants? Well the musicians/film-makers/swell guys behind that video have another one for you and it’s pretty darn excellent. Mad Men is a matter of weeks away from finally come to a close, those of us who have been with this astounding show from the beginning are all more than a little bit misty about it and the TalkFine guys are clearly on the same page.
Accordingly, they’ve put together this touching goodbye video, containing a carefully prepared package of the show’s most memorable moments and a catchy original tune that pays due respects to the legendary show, paying particular attention to the drinkings, dickings, disagreements and Drapers, all the Drapers you could ask for. At time of writing there are only 6 episodes to go, with the finale set to air on May 17th. This should tide you over until then, best taken with whiskey and a Lucky Strike. Not that I would ever recommend cigarettes. Maybe just pretend, drink all you want though, that’s fine.
