The Last Night Developer Tim Soret Apologises For Controversial Anti-Feminist Tweets

The Last Night

Following the controversy surrounding his previous GamerGate comments and anti-feminist sentiments, The Last Night developer Tim Soret has apologised during the PC Gaming Show at E3 2017.

Just before he discussed the game in further detail, Soret decided to address the elephant in the room. Check it out from the 50 second mark below.

“We are super happy with the trailer reception, it’s been absolutely incredible. Now of course I have some concerns I want to address.

“Um [inaudible, possibly “address”] some tweets I made in the past. Um. I want to apologise for those. They do not in any way represent who I am today, or what The Last Night will be about.”

Soret was then quizzed for more general info about The Last Night and mentioned an interesting mechanic. The choices you make will reverberate throughout the game, Telltale style. Looks like one to keep an eye out for.

The Last Night will release in 2018 for Xbox One and PC.
