Ghostwire: Tokyo: Can You Dash?

Ghostwire: Tokyo

Ghostwire: Tokyo has a very specific kind of combat that isn’t quite like any other FPS out there. Players are expected to be more patient and methodical when it comes to getting the Visitors to go away, but for those wanting to speed things up, you probably want to know if you can dash around.

Unfortunately, you cannot dash in Ghostwire: Tokyo, which means that you either have to run or try and jump out of the way of enemies, or use the perfect block mechanic to protect yourself. On PS5, press the L1 button at the right moment to negate all damage to yourself and to also gain ether if you have upgraded the ability.

It might be a shame to some that you can’t dash in Ghostwire, but it’s worth bearing in mind that every single FPS game having a dash would make it feel a lot less unique. Akito has a lot of ways of getting out of the line of danger, the most prominent being the spells at his fingertips. Play it smart and aggressively and you should be just fine.

Ghostwire: Tokyo is available on PC and PS5.
