Ghost Recon: Wildlands – New Trailer Drops

ghost Recon Wildlands

After a period of seemingly nothing since last year’s E3 conference, a new trailer has appeared online for Ubisoft’s upcoming tactical co-op shooter, Ghost Recon: Wildlands.

The trailer isn’t overly long or heavy on gameplay, but its content still reveals some information that was previously unknown. Previously, we had known that the game would primarily take place in Bolivia, and you would play as an elite squad fighting against a drug cartel. In the newest trailer, titled ‘We are Ghosts’, we see squad members base-jumping towards increasingly hospitable landscapes; which range from arid wastelands to luscious jungles.

The trailer also shows some of the potential gear players will have. As the narration states “we are watchers, seeing everything, never being seen, leaving no trace,” we can see a player tossing a drone into the air, which is then followed by some night-vision footage of the drone marking enemies across a vast encampment. Clearly, teamwork will play a huge part in Ghost Recon: Wildlands, and players will likely have specific classes to contribute an equal amount towards their group.

One thing absent from the trailer is any mention of a release date, which is a shame. I imagine we’ll get plenty of information on a release and any future plans when E3 rolls around this June – with Ubisoft’s conference taking place on the 14th. Until then, make sure to check out the new trailer for this game, because it could be something to look out for.
