The Mechanical Shockwave Bow is a newmechanical weapon introduced at the start of Fortnite: Chapter 2 – Season 6.

Mechanical weapons are new additions that serve to drastically change up the loot pool, which is now split into mechanical, primal and makeshift weapons. Players can now craft weapons, which acts as the upgrade system for the season.

Here’s everything you need to know about the Mechanical Shockwave Bow in Season 6.

Mechanical Shockwave Bow Stats & Tips

Mechanical Shockwave Bow

“Heavy-hitting bow that causes shockwave on impact”.

The Mechanical Shockwave Bow deals just under 100 damage for a body shot, and then shockwaves your enemy away. Your enemy can also feel the shockwave effect if the arrow lands next to them, but make sure you pull the string back all the way or the shockwave effect won’t be applied.

It works very similarly to the Boom Bow of the past, though it doesn’t have nearly as high damage output. It’s also very slow to pull the string back all the way, so you should be very careful when going up against enemies in that you don’t leave yourself exposed.

You can also shoot an arrow at your feet and then jump to give yourself the Shockwave effect.

Mechanical Shockwave Bow Location

The Mechanical Shockwave Bow is available wherever loot usually spawns, though we were lucky enough to spawn one in a regular chest. As an Epic/Legendary weapon, there is roughly a 1% chance of it spawning.

How To Craft The Shockwave Bow

To craft the bow, you need to first find or craft a Mechanical Bow. Once that’s done, you the need to find 2x Shockwave Grenades and craft the Mechanical Shockwave Bow from within your crafting menu in the inventory.

Fortnite is free-to-play on PC via the Epic Games Store, PlayStation 5, PlayStation 4, Xbox Series X | S, Xbox One, Nintendo Switch, and Android.
