The Ray Gun is a new weapon added over the course of Fortnite: Season 7, a weapon that does constant damage over time than just a single fire weapon. As has been the case in most recent seasons when it comes to new weapons, the Ray Gun will get an Exotic rarity in the form of Zyg and Choppy’s Ray Gun.
Available from beating the titular bosses, Zyg and Choppy’s Ray Gun is very similar to the Kymera version except that it does just a little more damage and reloads faster. It’s probably not worth the hassle of beating the boss for it, but it’s still a strong weapon.

As it was with the Kymera Ray Gun, Zyg and Choppy’s Ray Gun has a massively high magazine size, but that’s not technically accurate as it’s infinite, only need to be cooled down.
Zyg and Choppy’s Ray Gun probably isn’t the best fun for ultra competitive players as you do need to hit opponents consecutively for a long time to eliminate them, which is hard to do when players are so build happy.
Still, if it’s just a fun weapon you want, Zyg and Choppy’s Ray Gun could be just that.
Zyg and Choppy’s Ray Gun Location
To get this new weapon in Fortnite, you must defeat the Zyg and Choppy boss on the map. Well, Zyg is technically the boss, Choppy is just his pet companion.
Zyg can be found at Hydro 16, which is to the east of Slurpy Swamp. Find him patrolling the bottom floor, laying down some Alien Parasites.
Zyg isn’t actually hostile to begin with, so you will have to attack them first to commence the fight. They have a pretty significant amount of shield and health, roughly 500 or so. Be sure to keep up the pressure from a distance to eventually eliminate him and snag the Ray Gun he drops.
