Fortnite: Season 8 is slowly starting to crank into gear after a relatively quiet start for content, with Fornitemares bringing with it the Dual Fiend Hunters.

A new dual-wielded weapon, the Dual Fiend Hunters are more updated versions of the Fiend Hunter Crossbow, a very unpopular Halloween item, that hits harder and faster, with extra damage done to Cube Monsters.

Here’s everything you should know about the Dual Fiend Hunters in Fortnite: Season 8.

Fortnite Dual Fiend Hunters Stats

WeaponDual Fiend Hunters
RarityLegendary
Damage34
Magazine Size16
Fire Rate4
Reload Time2.61

The above stats are for the Legendary version of the Dual Fiend Hunters. They are available from Common all the way up to Legendary.

Dual Fiend Hunters don’t deal much damage to players, but they do heavy damage to Cube Monsters. If you’re looking to clear out the Sideways areas of the map, these are the weapons you need.

Bear in mind that they aren’t all that accurate, so you may have to only use them on Cube Monsters as they probably won’t be very good at all against players.

Fortnite Dual Fiend Hunters Location

The Dual Fiend Hunters are very commonly available across the Fortnite map, typically found within chests and on the floor.

However, Dual Fiend Hunters aren’t available in Arena as part of Epic’s ongoing desire to separate the loot pools.

It’s unclear how long exactly Dual Fiend Hunters will be available in the game, but a good guess is that they will be vaulted at the conclusion of Fortnitemares 2021 in early November.

Fortnite is free-to-play on PC via the Epic Games Store, PlayStation 5, PlayStation 4, Xbox Series X | S, Xbox One, Nintendo Switch, and Android.
