Fortnite Coachella Skins: Price, Release Date & What You Should Know

Fortnite has collaborated with a lot of different characters, famous names, and properties, but it’s never collaborated with a music festival — until now. Fortnite will be getting some new Coachella skins to celebrate this year’s upcoming festival.

For those not in the know, Coachella is arguably the biggest music festival in the world and features acts from a whole span of genres, though historically leans more towards rock. The week-long event usually bring in attendances of over 100,000 to California for each respective day, with it often being seen as one of the hippest events of the year.

Here’s everything you need to know about the Fortnite X Coachella crossover, including the cost of skins, when they release, and how much they will cost.

 

Fortnite Coachella Skins

There will be four Coachella skins in Fortnite in total, with two skins dropping at different times

The first duo will include Wilder (male) and Lyric (female).

Here’s Wilder and their second style that’s reactive to music, along with all of their extra cosmetics.

Both skins will be sold as part of the Rocking at Coachella Bundle.

The second wave of skins will include the Alto (male) and Poet (female) skins.

Both of these skins will be available in the Dancing at Coachella Bundle.

 

Fortnite Coachella Skins Price

Based on every other crossover skin to date, each Coachella skin should cost 1200-1500 V-Bucks from the Fortnite Item Shop, most likely 1200 as they aren’t existing, well-known characters.

Players will also be able to buy the two skins in each set as part of a bundle, which should cost 2000+ V-Bucks, based on other bundles sold in the past.

 

Fortnite Coachella Skins Release Date

The Fortnite Coachella skins will release at different times.

Wilder and Lyric will be available from April 14th, 2022 at 8 PM ET / 1AM EST (April 15th) in the Item Shop.

Alto and Poet will be available from from April 21st, 2022 at 8 PM ET / 1AM EST (April 22nd) in the Item Shop.

Both skin sets will likely remain in the Item Shop for upwards of a week. Coachella 2022, meanwhile, takes place across Fri, 15 Apr 2022 – Sun, 24 Apr 2022.

Fortnite is free-to-play on PC via the Epic Games Store, PlayStation 5, PlayStation 4, Xbox Series X | S, Xbox One, Nintendo Switch, and Android.
