A new season of Fortnite offers new opportunities for players to discover newly added secrets across the map. Chapter 3 – Season 3 is no different, but it also looks like the first new season this update to have a whole new biome.

Check out the new Season 3 map and the new biome for yourself down below.

The most obvious change with the Fortnite map lies in the west, as it seems like the entire area has become overgrown with flora, something that we saw in the Season 3 trailers.

There’s lots going on in this new area, from parties to giant mushrooms to even what looks like some kind of Baller theme park. Its landscape is a dark green and there’s purple flora everywhere, not to mention this giant POI of sorts.

This looks like it might be near where the Zero Point is currently submerged, but it’s definitely where most of the players will be dropping at the start of Season 3.

The main new POI at the center is called Reality Falls, with the tree itself being called the Reality Tree. Here’s some of the other new locations that we’ve spotted:

– Groovy Grove
– Hench Hut
– Shroom Station
– Displaced Depot
– Fungi Farm
– Shroom Chalet
– Spore Shack

If you’re disappointed with the map at the launch of Season 3, don’t forget that they are almost never the same at the season’s end. Epic constantly tweaks and updates the map over the course of a season to keep players interested, and that’s bound to be the case for Season 3.

Fortnite is free-to-play on PC via the Epic Games Store, PlayStation 5, PlayStation 4, Xbox Series X | S, Xbox One, Nintendo Switch, and Android.
