With a new season of Fortnite comes a whole host of new challenges, items, and things to see and do. Fortnite 2, the biggest update to the game since it launched, is a little overwhelming to begin with, it tasking you with hunting down Named Locations across a brand new map as part of the New World mission.

Compared to basically every Fortnite map out there, the Fortnite 2 map doesn’t actually show you where everything is to begin with, meaning that you will have explore all on your own. And it’s pretty damn big, too.

Here’s everything you need to know to discover the named locations in Fortnite 2 – Season 1.

All of the Named Locations in Fortnite 2 will be greyed out when you first begin, so it can be a little confusing.

However, if you venture on over to any of the “???” symbols on your map, the map should then clear up and it will then be named on your map from then on.

Here’s what it looks like when you find a new named location in Fortnite 2.

There are thirteen Named Locations on the Fortnite 2 – Season 1 map in total, but you only need 10 to complete your New World challenge. Jump into Team Rumble and you should be able to get this done a bit quicker. Your reward is 14,000 XP.
