Square Enix and Luminous Productions took to tonight’s PlayStation Showcase 2021 to reveal a new gameplay trailer for Forspoken, their upcoming third-person, magic infused adventure. Check out the trailer below.

As ever, there’s more details about the game to find in a PlayStation Blog, with the main talking points concerning the music and story. The soundtrack is the product of a collaboration between Bear McCreary and Gary Schyman, who’ve worked on projects like God of War, The Walking Dead and Bioshock, to name but a few. Meanwhile, Forspoken’s story has been penned by veterans Gary Whitta (Rogue One) and Amy Hennig (Uncharted), Allison Rymer (Shadowhunters) and Todd Stashwick, who worked with Hennig on the cancelled Visceral Star Wars game.

Forspoken was already revealed earlier in the year, but the new gameplay trailer is the biggest look at the game yet. We’ve also been given a vague release date of Spring 2022. Definitely one to look forward to.
