Fallout 4 is Now Less Than Two Weeks Away

Fallout 4 Dog and Man

With Fallout 4 less than two weeks away, that’s under 300 hours left until the second coming or should I say the fourth coming,  I for one am so excited about this new instalment in the multi-award winning series that has enlightened/ruined the lives of so many gamers. As we watch the hours tick by agonizingly slowly, let us relive the SPECIAL videos Bethesda studios have produced to add to the build up for what could be one of the best games ever produced.

The best thing about these videos is not only their black humour that is part and parcel of the Fallout series, but it is what they are slyly showing us in the background or at the very end of the clip. Primarily, it is the other perks that you can explore in the game, like having the endurance to hold your breath underwater for increased periods of time or forcing people to obey your orders or conducting first aid on the battlefield amongst the myriad of others on show.

As we are talking about Fallout videos, there was one that was posted on Fallout’s Facebook page and uploaded onto the Gamespot website.

It reveals a short video which details some more of those perks that we saw in the SPECIAL videos. It goes one further as it goes into the game to show us how the ‘big leagues’ perk works in the wasteland. What we see is a gorefest with the player smashing heads off left, right and centre with a baseball bat filled with nails. It also gives us a quick glimpse into what could be Fenway Park and downtown Boston. Either way, the ‘big leagues’ perk looks like something we will all be swinging away at sooner rather than later.

I cannot contain my excitement for this game, it is like Christmas come early! I cannot wait to spend hours exploring the nuclear wasteland and learn that war…war never changes.
