AEW have confirmed the return of the Zero-Hour pre-show, which will take place live on various free-to-stream platforms prior to the main card on Sunday night. As part of this stacked pre-show, Eddie Kingston will return from suspension to challenge New Japan Pro Wrestling’s Tomohiro Ishii to a rematch from Capitol Collision.
Originally, Kingston was set to face Sammy Guevara for the TNT Championship at All Out, however due to a suspension, he has now been relegated to performing in a non-title match on the pre-show card. Not that this should be seen as a punishment, as this match is bound to be a banger and one that I am personally more interested in watching than Kingston/Guevara.
As mentioned, this is a sequel match to their first encounter back in May in a match for the NEVER Openweight Championship. ‘The Mad King’ was unable to topple Ishii but left him battered and bruised after a hard-hitting affair. However, now this is on Kingston’s home ground, it would be a safe bet that Eddie will pick-up the return victory.
With more action to be announced, Zero-Hour is bound to be a pre-show you don’t want to miss.
