We’re all salivating over the prospect of Titanfall 2 thanks to the single-player and multiplayer trailers. The series will be making its debut on PS4 and will no doubt perform well, probably even better than the original.
However, if you’re a PS4 owner and are waiting to delve into the rich, intricate world of Titanfall (joking, it’s just explosions and running along walls) with the original, you aren’t in luck. IGN spoke to Respawn Entertainment’s Vince Zampella about it:
“No we’re not. Titanfall 2 on PS4, on Xbox One, on PC, all the platforms—this will be the game people should play. You don’t have to have played Titanfall 1 to play this game to understand anything.”
That’s a shame. When I had an Xbox One and PS4, the original Titanfall is the only thing that kept bringing me back to play the former. Titanfall 2 looks like being much, much better so maybe it isn’t a huge loss.
