Fabraz and Playtonic Friends have announced that their upcoming 2D/3D hybrid platformer Demon Turf will be launching on PC, PS4, PS5, Xbox One, Xbox Series X | S and Switch on November 4th. To celebrate, check out the game’s launch trailer at the top of the page.

What Is Demon Turf?

Demon Turf puts players in the shoes of the 1000-year old demon by the name of Beebz, who seeks to travel through the numerous turfs that exist within the Demon World, liberate them from the grips of the Demon King, dethrone the King and take the title of ruler for herself.

The hybrid art style of Demon Turf is already eye-catching, but Demon Turf looks to offer value that isn’t just skindeep. Players will be able to go through the game setting their own checkpoints, allowing them to make the game as easy or as hard as they like. The combat is also physics driven, with players using their abilities to send enemies into various hazards or off ledges. With a lot of side content to boot, Demon Turf could be a sleeper GOTY contender, and you could get the game for free if you’re good enough.

How Do I Get A Free Copy Of Demon Turf?

Before launch, Fabraz held Demon Turf Trials on Steam, which were essentially a demo for the full game along with weekly competitions for players. From today, the Trials will be relaunched on Steam, and players who reach the top ranks will earn a free copy of the game on Steam.

In order to win your free copy, you’ll need to complete one of the following challenges:

– 19th October – 4th November: Demo Speedrun Challenge, top 5 best times (with video evidence) win a Steam key
– Trial 1 – 21-28th Oct: Top 3 on the Leaderboard receive a Steam key
– Trial 2 – 28th Oct to 4th Nov: Top 3 on the Leaderboard receive a Steam key
