It’s interesting times in the WWE right now, with the Brand Split and the Draft a clothesline away. Everything’s up in the air, including the women’s division bout for the upcoming Battleground Pay-Per-View. Women’s Champ Charlotte has laid down a challenge to Sasha Banks: A tag match pitting Charlotte and her minion Dana Brook against the Boss and, well, somebody.
If the internet is to be trusted (it usually isn’t) that somebody might just be the WWE’s number one hugger: Bayley. The rumour comes as Sasha Banks’ mystery partner remains unnamed with only a week to spare until the pay-per-view, and this cryptic tweet from Bayley herself.

Are we jumping to conclusions?
The former NXT Womens’ Champion has been tipped for a move up to the main roster since she dropped the belt to Asuka at NXT Takeover: Dallas just before Wrestlemania 32. As the last of NXT’s four horsewomen to make the jump to main, Bayley has history with both Charlotte and Sasha. With the latter, in fact, she managed to tear the house down on two consecutive Takeover events last year.
If Bayley were to debut at Battleground, it would add an extra spark to an already sturdy women’s division. The question is, will she debut at the pay-per-view, or at Tuesday’s draft itself? Or could this be a lot of hot air that all comes to nothing?
