Commodore 64’s Comeback, The C64 Mini, Will Be Released On March 29th

C64 Mini

Over the past couple of years, the gaming industry has felt a wave of nostalgia, with products like the NES and SNES Mini flying off the shelves as if they had wings. Retro Games Ltd and Koch Media realised this, and announced they would be creating the C64 Mini, the revival of the world’s best selling home computer, the Commodore 64. Today, they’ve announced that the project finally has a release date: March 29th.

The C64 Mini will include 64 of the best games from the era, including some famous titles like California Games, Speedball 2: Brutal Deluxe, Impossible Mission and its sequel, Boulder Dash and many more. For a child of the 80s, this product would be hard to pass up. Hell, the C64 is way before my time and I’m still tempted.

Similar to the NES and SNES Mini, the C64 Mini uses a HDMI cable to connect to the TV, so you don’t need to worry about SCART leads or anything similar. If you don’t remember what a SCART lead is, then you’ve really stumbled into the wrong article. Stop reading this and get back to school.
