If you’ve ever wondered what all the Animal Crossing fuss is about, Castaway Paradise might be the next best thing for those on PS4 and Xbox One. Already available on PC and iOS, Castaway Paradise will release on July 31st for both platforms.
Developed by Stolen Couch Games, Castaway Paradise will set you back $12.99 and features some lovely, lo-fi visuals and a serene tone — if you’re jaded by shooting all of the things, this game will allow you to do the simple things instead, like catching butterflies and fishing.

Castaway Paradise will allow you to make new friends, complete quests, and decorate until you’re the next Laurence Llewelyn-Bowen. Stardew Valley fans are bound to also be in for a treat with farming present and the game also featuring seasonal changes.
It seems like a nice enough game that may even tide over Animal Crossing fans until the next game is announced for Switch, whenever that may be. Castaway Paradise currently has a ‘Very Positive’ rating on Steam, we’ll have to wait and see if these ports are quite as successful.
