RAW News: Bray Wyatt Returns And Attacks Finn Balor

The Fiend finally made his triumphant return to the squared circle.

Bray Wyatt returns

After a fairly successful Extreme Rules pay-per-view, WWE wanted to continue their hot streak by putting on an eventful episode of Monday Night Raw. With the fallout of Brock Lesnar’s cash-in on everyone’s minds, nobody was expecting to see the hotly anticipated return of Bray Wyatt. ‘The Fiend’ made his first appearance on Monday Night Raw, attacking former Intercontinental Champion Finn Balor after his match with Samoa Joe.

Wyatt and Balor have had quite the history with one another in WWE. Feuding for the best part of 2017, Wyatt and Balor’s dream match series was somewhat ruined by the ‘Sister Abigail’ persona, a strange mirror-match of Balor’s demon alter-ego. Fortunately for us, the match never went ahead, as Wyatt was out with the mumps just before the TLC event, causing WWE to hit the panic button and book a match between The Demon and AJ Styles.

It seems Bray is out to redeem himself, choosing Balor as his first guest for the Firefly Funhouse. The aura surrounding Wyatt is incredible, definitely something that WWE won’t want to let go to waste. The crowd went nuts when the lights went down and ‘The Fiend’ appeared, so I think a huge congratulations is in order for Bray Wyatt for having turned his career around in such a way.
