In a leak that took place over the weekend, it was revealed that the upcoming Forza Horizon 4 has both the classic Halo Warthog, along with a special level seemingly inspired by the level The Silent Cartographer.
The gallery of images, which you can find over on Imgur, includes plenty of pictures of fast cars doing the racing thing, but the main takeaway from the leak concerns an image of the classic Warthog driving around on a Halo ring with a Covenant ship looming large in the distance.
The image looks very similar to the mission The Silent Cartographer from the original Halo game, where Chief gets dropped off on a beach from a Pelican, before driving a Warthog around and splattering Covenant forces. Eagle-eyed fans already found a Halo event in the world map from a recent Playground Games stream, with the icon for the Pelican seemingly confirmed The Silent Cartographer theory.
The Warthog itself is no stranger to the Forza series, but this looks like the most amount of effort being put into its inclusion. Hopefully, the vehicle won’t be restricted to the one event, as we have designs to ride it all around the British Isles when the games launches this October.
