While thankfully nowhere near as long as something like Valhalla, Assassin’s Creed Mirage still has lots for players to seek out beyond the main quests if they so wish. One of your investigations includes a special tip from Nehal, who mentions a strange chamber she came across in the wilderness that’s north of ‘Aqarquf Dunes.
You can find ‘Aqarquf Dunes to the north of Baghdad in the wilderness, check out the map below for its location.
While you’re here, be sure to check out Dur-Kurigalzu to the west, a stronghold that houses tonnes of enemies and special gear.
From ‘Aqarquf Dunes, jump on your horse and keep heading north until you arrive at ruins and a giant pool — this is the Northern Oasis and where your objective lies. Be sure to activate the nearby viewpoint; the Northern Oasis will now be visible on your map as well.
Once you’ve activated the Northern Oasis viewpoint, a new door icon will be added to your map, except it seems underground. Easily solved, simply dive into the water in Northern Oasis and descend downwards through a large hole in the lake.
Keep swimming until you eventually come out of the water and into what looks like an ancient structure.
Press ahead and then squeeze through a small crack in the wall to come into a mysterious chamber filled with floating weapons. In here, you can use the Shards that you find on members of the Order to collect some of the most valuable gear in the game, with 2 Shards, 3 Shards, and 5 Shards all unlocking you new gear.
We had 2 Shards on us when we visited, which unlocked the Samsaana Dagger, a super powerful tool that heals Basim for every 5th hit.
Be sure to either pickpocket or assassinate a member of the Order when you see their icon around Baghdad and then bring them back to this chamber to unlock new, super powerful items.
Assassin’s Creed Mirage is available on PC, PS4, PS5, Xbox One, Xbox Series X & S.
