Apex Legends: Legacy is probably the most substantial change up to the Apex formula since the game began. Such a big update is likely the cause for what seems like countless issues with the new season’s launch, not least of all is the fact that many Legends are missing in the character select screen.
For the time being, players can only play with the default Legends that you have unlocked from the start of your Apex journey. That means there’s no new Legend, Valkyrie, or any of the other favourites for many people, including the likes of Mirage and Octane.
But don’t worry: they will be back. Respawn are hard at work on making sure Legacy gets up to par, so anything you’ve done in this weird period in Apex should still carry over. Just to be on the safe side, be sure to avoid spending your Apex Coins or Legend Tokens until things stabilise.
