There’s More To This Deadpool 2 IMAX Poster Than Meets The Eye

With less than a month to go until Deadpool 2 blasts its way into theaters, 20th Century Fox have released a new IMAX poster for the film, which shows the Merc with the Mouth and his entourage riding atop a unicorn on a magic rainbow. But things aren’t all exactly unicorns and rainbows, however, when you remember what Deadpool was doing with the unicorn toy in the first movie…

The sequel to the highest-grossing R-rated film of all time finds Deadpool being forced to quit his job as a chef after a fatal bovine attack causes him to lose his sense of taste. He doesn’t have long to wallow in self-pity, however, as he is soon tasked with rounding up a team of mutants known as the X-Force to go up against the time-traveling cybernetic soldier known as Cable.

Deadpool 2 is directed by John Wick’s David Leitch, with Ryan Reynolds once again returning to his Golden Globe-nominated role as the superpowered mutate mercenary. Other cast members will include Morena Baccarin, Julian Dennison, T.J. Miller, Brianna Hildebrand, Zazie Beetz, Terry Crews, and Josh Brolin as Cable, with Stefan Kapičić also returning as the voice of Colossus.
