Depending on where you are in the world, you should now be able to play the Prey reboot. But can your PC handle it? It’s a given that it will work on console if never over-deliver in terms of performance, but what do you need for the PC version of the game?

If you can get to the recommended settings with your setup, you are a richer man than I.

And, hopefully, this will be an Arkane game that will be optimised. It’s made for PC on a different engine to Dishonored 2, something which Arkane co-director Raphael Colantonio wants you to know:
“I also want to clarify that there’s no PC port.”
“I keep on hearing ‘oh they’re going to screw up the PC port’ – there is no PC port. We do the game on PC. It’s a PC game. It’s a different engine to Dishonored as well.
“So we might have our own sets of problems, but we are of course very careful because of what happened with Dishonored 2. So we wanted to make sure the PC version of Prey is good.”
There isn’t long to wait to find out if that’s true or not.
