If you don’t know by now, we like new music. We like listening to it, we like writing about it, and, most of all, we like bringing the good stuff to your ears before anyone else. Well, we’re at it again with our premiere of ‘Dinosaurs’ by Wrinkles. Check it out.
The closest band I could say they sound like would be Wolf Parade, but that’s neglecting to mention that Wrinkles just do their own thing. They’re synthy in all the right places with a harder edge bubbling underneath, as if they want to jump on a table and start breaking shit.
They’ve opened for the likes of King Gizzard and the Lizard Wizard and look set to go on a rampage through the rest of 2016. Want to feel old? They have an average of 22; at 22 I was picking the lint out of my belly button and organising my fruit by colour.
Mark my words, Wrinkles will go a long way, especially if their debut album is even half as good as this single. Hit them up at @wrinklesrock if you like what you hear.
