Following on from a recent appearance at Calgary’s Sled Festival, legendary post-rockers Godspeed You! Black Emperor have announced their upcoming world tour.
Announced this morning by Constellation Records, the tour will mainly take place in North America with dotted dates across places in Europe and Canada. Their year will conclude quite appropriately in Paris at October’s Pitchfork Festival.
The tour is to support the surprise release of latest album, Asunder, Sweet and Other Distress, which we shamefully never covered. Our review in short: “excellent noisy noise”. Expect that in its Wikipedia entry before the end of the week.
