Deadly Premonition 2 Launching This July On Nintendo Switch

You guys ready to get weird?

Deadly Premonition

Yesterday, we reported on the news that Deadly Premonition 2: A Blessing In Disguise’s developer Swery was teasing an announcement of some kind regarding the game that’d drop in the next week. Turns out, he actually meant today, as it was revealed that the game will drop on July 10th as a Nintendo Switch exclusive. Check out the trailer below.

Deadly Premonition 2 comes 10 years after the release of the original title on the Xbox 360, though if you haven’t played the original, you can catch up for yourself on the Nintendo Switch. The sequel will once again follow Agent York, as he investigates a serial killer in the town of Le Carré.

Not much is known about Deadly Premonition 2: A Blessing In Disguise, but it’s clear that the game has big shoes to fill if it hopes to match up to its eccentric predecessor, as the first game managed to cultivate a cult-like following in the decade since its release. Whether it lives up to the name or disappoints remains to be seen, but at least we won’t be waiting long to find out.
