The Legend of Zelda: Tears of the Kingdom is perhaps 2023’s most hotly anticipated game, the follow up to 2017’s Breath of the Wild and the first full fat Zelda game since. As a sequel to Breath of the Wild, you should expect a similar kind of challenge, but is there any way to change the difficulty in TOTK?
Unfortunately for those who want to tailor their Zelda experience, TOTK does not come with any difficulty options. You must make your way through the game on its default difficulty, with very little in the way of assistance. There aren’t any accessibility options that we can see, either.
This is certainly a shame for those who want to make their way across Hyrule’s skies as they want to, especially for those who could do with assistance. The only thing that we can recommend is that if you’re struggling with a certain area, you go away and increase your health and stamina before trying again. It also helps to learn enemy patterns through failure, much in the same way it does with another game series that we’re not allowed to compare anything to anymore. Also Star Wars Jedi.
