Arrows are one of the most common yet still most precious resources in The Legend of Zelda: Tears of the Kingdom, especially for those who like to fight from a distance. It can be all too easy to run out of arrows in the thick of battle.
There are a couple of fairly reliable ways of getting a steady supply of arrows in Tears of the Kingdom.
The first is to buy them from merchants. Almost all of the most vendors in villages in the game will sell at least the basic Arrow for a few rupees, with some merchants even selling superior ones or those with status effects. You can most reliably buy arrows from the shop in Kakariko Village, for instance, but there should be a stockist in more or less every township/village stockist in the game.
The second best way of farming arrows in TOTK is to break open these giant crates.
These can typically be found at enemy encampments but are all across Hyrule and also respawn after time. During our playthrough, pretty much every single one of these has contained at least one arrow.
To easily open them up, simply use Ultrahand to lift them up high and release them to break them apart on the ground when they fall.
While not necessarily a way of farming them, it’s also worth remembering that missed arrows can also be picked up from the ground after you’ve shot them.
