WWE’s Next in Line programme is off to a great start with a fully revealed first class of collegiate stars with hopes of securing a full-time WWE contract. Headlining the first class of this new developmental initiative is the Cavinder sisters, two twenty year old Basketball players who already own an impressive following on social media.

Joining the Cavinders and Olympic athlete Gable Steveson in the Next in Line program are the following names:

  • Carlos Aviles (Ohio State Track & Field)
  • Haley Cavinder (Fresno State basketball)
  • Hanna Cavinder (Fresno State basketball)
  • A.J. Ferrari (Oklahoma State wrestling)
  • Lexi Gordon (Duke basketball)
  • Aleeya Hutchins (Wake Forest track & field)
  • John Krahn (Portland State football)
  • Glen Logan (LSU football)
  • Isaac Odugbesan (Alabama track & field)
  • Mason Parris (Michigan wrestling)
  • Masai Russell (Kentucky track & field)
  • Jon Seaton (Elon football)
  • Joe Spivak (Northwestern football)
  • Dalton Wagner (Arkansas football)
  • Riley White (Alabama track & field)

The NIL program will allow for these athletes to complete their final semesters at college while receiving state of the art training at the WWE Performance Centre and a selection of promotional deals to jump-start their careers in wrestling.

I imagine we’ll see quite a few of these young athletes hitting our screens in the next few years.
