It is a very big day for signings with WWE, with some huge (and long rumoured) names finally making their way to the biggest wrestling company in the world.

Ricochet, War Machine, and Candice LeRae have all officially signed with the company and have reported to the WWE Performance Center.

Ricochet (aka Prince Puma to fans of Lucha Underground) is unquestionably one of the greatest high-flyers and all-round exciting athletes in pro wrestling today. You’d be hard-pressed to find any matches of his that are anything less than excellent.

The former PWG and IWGP Junior Heavyweight Tag Team Champion got the world talking last year after his controversial match with the current IWGP Junior Heavyweight Champion, Will Ospreay. He has won countless titles and accolades in his 14+ year career, including being a two-time PWG ‘Battle of Los Angeles’, winner.

Following on from that news, WWE then announced that the tag team War Machine (Adam Hanson and Raymond Rowe) were the next to report to the PC.

The fierce team combine a smash-mouth style along with unexpected agility, making them one of the most exciting, powerful, and versatile teams going.

Having held gold in promotions such as New Japan Pro Wrestling and WCPW/Defiant, the 550+ pound pair are sure to put the WWE tag division on notice.

Finally, WWE rounded out a blockbuster series of announcements with news that Candice LeRae, one of the most acclaimed and respected female wrestlers in recent memory, would also be joining WWE.

Most recently a part of the Mae Young Classic, LeRae is no stranger to competition, being one half of the former PWG Tag Team Championship-winning “World’s Cutest Tag Team”, alongside Joey Ryan. The tenacious superstar is also married to current NXT favourite Johnny Gargano.

LeRae is familiar with many of WWE’s current roster too, having tangled with the likes of Kevin Owens and Cesaro in the past. In doing so, she was truly influential in changing the perspective on women in the wrestling scene and helping popularise modern intergender wrestling.

Rumours continue to circulate that Impact Wrestling’s EC3, Bobby Lashley, and Rockstar Spud will be the next big signings for WWE, after all three recently finished up with the company.
