Want Free Titanfall 2 DLC? Get Fat with Buffalo Wings and Mountain Dew

Titanfall 2

The original Titanfall was fairly warmly received by fans and critics before very quietly falling off the radar. One of the most complaints it had was that it was light on content and missing some modes that would give it longevity and variety. We know Titanfall 2 will feature a single-player campaign, but now we’ll also be getting some free DLC for it.

The catch? You might need to buy a gym membership to go with the free DLC – EA are partnering with Buffalo Wild Wings and the makers of Doritos and Mountain Dew (because of course they are) to give free DLC to customers.

If you visit Buffalo Wild Wings between October 28th and November 30th and buy some food, you will be given a code that unlocks in-game content that will be used to customise your Titan with insignias. In addition, customers will receive a code to grant instant access to an “all-new multiplayer mode”.

As for Mountain Dew’s involvement, the soft drink giant’s partnership with EA for the game will give players the opportunity to earn double XP. That same code will also give you a Titan customisation skin as well as early access to a new Titan and game mode. All you have to do is buy specially marked Mountain Dew and Doritos items and redeem the code between October 2nd and December 31st, which is handy because a New Year’s Resolution of dropping all your free DLC weight could be a good idea.

Jump on that treadmill and get ready for Titanfall 2’s release on October 28th for PS4, Xbox One, and PC. A beta launches tomorrow.
