The Evil Within 2: Bethesda’s Upcoming Horror Game Gets New Screenshots

TEW 2

Officially revealed last night at E3 2017 following a leak at the hands of Reddit ads, The Evil Within 2 is going to be high on the agenda for anyone who wants something gruesome to tuck into this year.

With Shinji Mikami again overseeing the project, The Evil Within 2 is slated for release on Friday the 13th, 2017. That’s some smart marketing right there.

The release date is only a few months away and we’re sure to find out more about it soon, but before then, let’s tuck into some screenshots.

If you ask me, it already looks like an upgrade on the visuals of the original. The design on that woman is hard to look away from.

In conjunction with these new screenshots, a synopsis has also been released:

“Detective Sebastian Castellanos has lost everything, including his daughter, Lily. To save her, he is forced to partner with Mobius, the shadowy organization responsible for the destruction of Sebastian’s former life. Sebastian must descend into one of their terrible creations, the disturbing world of Union. Horrifying threats emerge from every corner, and he must rely on his wits to survive. For his last chance at redemption, the only way out.”

The Evil Within 2 will launch for PS4, Xbox One, and PC.
