The Deus Ex Collection Available At A Crazy Price In The Steam Summer Sale 2018

The Steam Summer Sale is well underway with Rust on the cheap being one of the best worst purchases I’ve ever made, along with a few outright gems now belonging in my library. The Deus Ex Collection is one such gem, or rather five games from one of the most beloved action RPG franchises of all time.

It’s a huge saving with 88% off of its RRP of $89/£64, which comes down to about $10.60/£7. That’s a wild saving, especially considering one of the games in the bundle, Mankind Divided isn’t that old at all. In fairness, it’s almost always been heavily discounted owing to it really struggling in the sales charts.

The bundle inclues the following: Deus Ex: Game of the Year Edition, Invisible War, The Fall, Human Revolution: Director’s Cut, and Mankind Divided and its season pass. Of those games, The Fall is the only one that you should avoid at all costs — there’s plenty to like about Invisible War.

As I already own Mankind Divided thanks to Humble Monthly, the total price of the collection actually came down to £5.70. That’s not a bad price to pay at all, especially as I have nostalgic memories of the first two games that I’m sure playing them again now won’t totally ruin.

The Deus Ex franchise has some of the best stealth games ever made, but it’s in trouble. After the failure of Mankind Divided, it’s probably going to be a long time until we see a new game, if we ever do. Buying this collection and modding the hell out of it will tide you over until then. Maybe don’t even install The Fall, though.
