Even if some people are pretty cynical about it being just an ever so slight upgrade on the original, Splatoon 2 has to go down as one of the most anticipated games for the Nintendo Switch.
The year ahead for Nintendo’s new flagship is patchy in terms of games to be released, with plenty of confusion over what’s coming out when. As we have learned in the past with the likes of Battlefield 1, there’s always one place you can get all your release date leaks.

UK chain GAME were caught out on the pre-order page for the game, listing its release as the 18th of August.
While this could just be a placeholder, it seems to be in the right ballpark – Spatoon 2 was originally touted to come out in the vague area of Summer 2017. August seems likely, but as with everything, maybe wait until official confirmation comes in.
