Sega are getting in on the 21st century method of marketing: teasing very little while also hyping up consumers a lot. It’s worked wonders for other developers in the past and even resulted in a nice surprise for Bayonetta fans when the game suddenly appeared on PC – the only clue it was happening was tucked inside an April Fool’s joke.
Vanquish, the cult favourite Platinum Games shooter from 2010, was recently hinted at within Bayonetta after a patch. Tucked away in the Extras folder, you’ll find this image:
Taking it one step further, Sega teased the re-release yesterday on Twitter in a very basic way:

Using simple number science, 5 here probably relates to the month in a calendar year, which is May. We’re currently in May, so I think it’s time everyone started combing Glittermitten Grove to see if that game has the answer.
