Former NXT UK Tag Team Champions, Pretty Deadly, have not only won their first match in NXT but they have also captured their first NXT Tag Team Championships. The newcomers outlasted four other headlining teams in the Tag division to capture the vacant NXT Tag titles, defeating Legado Del Fantasma, Grayson Waller & Sanga, Briggs & Jensen and finally, The Creed Brothers, to gain victory.

The Brits that took NXT UK by storm throughout 2021 shocked the NXT audience by taking down the dominant Diamond Mine duo, taking their best offense and kicking out of pretty much everything. Sam Stoker and Lewis Howley walked away with the win over the Creeds after some foul play from the outside, suggesting that this feud is far from over.

Pretty Deadly were revealed as the attackers behind the assault on the Diamond Mine dojo on last week’s episode of NXT, setting them up for a mismatched debut feud. Now that the Tag titles have become involved, following the release of MSK’s Nash Carter, this can only lead to tensions intensifying on NXT TV.

It’s likely that the Creed Brothers will get another shot at the titles on the next ‘special’ edition of NXT 2.0, whether that be a TakeOver event or not, we’ll just have to wait and see.

A huge win for Pretty Deadly to kickstart their NXT careers, yes boys!
