Deep Silver and 4A Games have announced that the 2nd DLC story for Metro Exodus, Sam’s Story, will be launching on PS4, Xbox One, PC and Stadia on February 11th. This new DLC story will follow the former US Marine Sam as he attempts to make his back home to the USA.
After finding out that life can indeed exist outside the tunnels of Moscow, Sam departs the Aurora and explores the ruins of Vladivostok, but in order to reach the end of his journey, he’ll have to contend with some unexpected threats.
The DLC pack will offer a brand new “expansive sandbox survival” level with its own storyline, characters, weapons and mutant threats. The environment is also said to be “huge” and supports non-linear gameplay, so we’ll have to see how it all comes together when the DLC pack launches in a couple of weeks.
Sam’s Story will be available to purchase on February 11th, though it’s also available as part of the Expansion Pass, which also includes the Two Colonels story DLC which launched back in August. Are you excited to experience Sam’s Story? Let us know in the comments.
